The JDE Concrete Contractor team completed a significant project in Traverse City, MI. The Acme Flats development, a multi-residential housing community, required the construction of ten apartment buildings. Each building featured over 1,200 lineal feet of foundation wall and utilized 110 yards of concrete.

This project showcased JDE’s expertise in large-scale concrete construction, even in remote locations. Careful planning and coordination were essential due to the distance involved. Our team successfully managed crane truck logistics, hotel bookings, city inspections, and survey coordination to ensure the project’s timely completion.

Mona Flats is a new apartment complex constructed in Norton Shores which is a small town in Muskegon, MI. The project involved building a massive retaining wall, spanning over 1,500 lineal feet and requiring nearly 1,000 yards of concrete. JDE Concrete Contractors built this retaining wall which was a crucial foundation for the subsequent construction of the apartment buildings. Our team successfully poured the concrete in sections over several weeks, utilizing various pump trucks to accommodate the wall’s size and length.

JDE Concrete Contractors completed a unique project in Cedar Springs, MI, involving the simultaneous construction of five foundations in the Meadow Garden Estates subdivision. The ambitious undertaking required meticulous planning and coordination among JDE’s footing and wall crews, crane operators and concrete pumping team.

Despite the challenges of managing multiple foundations concurrently, JDE successfully poured over 900 lineal feet of footing and wall and used 118 yards of concrete across all five sites. The project showcased JDE’s expertise in efficient project management and the ability to handle complex tasks in a timely manner.
